Jet Workshop Recording + Success
Last week was one of the best weeks of my 30+ year career ...
Hello again!
JET Live #1 … The Recording 🛫
I ran my first ever Just Enough Toc (JET) live session last week.
JET is my attempt to leave a slightly bigger dent in the universe by helping loads more people use just a little bit of ToC in their lives. It went well, I’m fired up … and you can see what’s in JET and watch the recording here. I hope it (ahem) takes off 🛫.
Success … 👏
Last week was one of the happiest weeks in my 30+ year career.
The Australian Financial Review just named one of my clients (and, friends), Angela Gadaev, Australian Business Woman of the Year, (in the Tech and Telco category).
This is so, so, so deserved.
I can't tell you how proud I am of Angela and her leadership team - and honestly, it feels amazing to have played a small part in their journey.
You must read her story (use the link above) - it’ll make you smile.
Angela grew up not far from Chernobyl.
She moved to Australia with a few dollars in her pocket, and barely a smidgen of English.
Now, 30+ years later, she “is the head of international logistics product portfolio at shipping logistics company WiseTech Global; in charge of 14 teams in 13 countries, building software solutions for global logistics and trade.” (WiseTech was a huge ToC success story, long before I started helping them).
And … she’s also just so much fun to work with!
I love that the AFR runs these awards each year. There were a bunch of nominees and winners across several industries, and you can read their stories here.
Why am I proud? I had the privilege of working alongside Angela and her team as they grew from about 40 people, at the start of Covid, to over 300, using my blend of ToC and Trust-Building. You can't scale up that far, that quickly, without creating a few bottlenecks along the way.
Hope you are well. If you happened to hit reply and say hello, I’d be even happier :)
